Responsibilities

TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a Travel RN – Postpartum to provide compassionate and specialized care to mothers and newborns after childbirth. The ideal candidate will monitor the recovery of mothers, educate them on newborn care, and ensure a smooth transition from hospital to home.

Qualifications

  • Monitor and assess postpartum mothers and newborns for any complications
  • Provide pain management and postpartum recovery care
  • Educate mothers on newborn feeding, diapering, and sleep patterns
  • Assist with breastfeeding support and lactation consulting
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, and postpartum interventions as needed
  • Recognize and address signs of postpartum depression or complications
  • Collaborate with OB/GYNs, pediatricians, and lactation consultants
  • Support skin-to-skin contact, bonding, and early parenting education
  • Ensure proper documentation and patient education before discharge
