Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS required; BSN highly desired Must-Have: BSN highly desired Cardiac Telemetry experience required Cerner experience required Description: Must live more than 50 miles away. This is a 48-bed cardiac-focused stepdown unit. It includes 4 pulmonary care beds and 10 cardiac surgery beds (travelers are not required to take these). Frequent IV drips include Heparin, Milrinone, Lasix, and Bumex. Common diagnoses include Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), NSTEMI, Arrhythmias, and Vascular Surgery. Skills-based hiring is enabled.
