Job Summary:

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with specialities in Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, Operating Room. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care, case management, and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age, frailty, and serious illness. Daily tasks include patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Critical to this role is strong communication and strong collaboration with patients, providers, and other members of our team. At least 2 years of experience and exceptional skill is required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in various specialties including Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, and Operating Room.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Manage patient cases and provide hospice care when applicable.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and healthcare providers.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Minimum of two years' experience in hospital, home health, or hospice care.
• Proficiency in clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Driver's license, car insurance, and automobile for field work.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience working in fast-paced healthcare environments.
• Advanced certifications or training relevant to specialty areas.

Special Considerations:

• Ability to work in diverse clinical settings including hospice, ICU, ER, and surgical units.
• Strong collaboration skills required for interdisciplinary team environments.

Scheduling:

• Work schedule may include day, night, or rotating shifts depending on department needs.
• Shift assignments are determined based on staffing requirements and patient care demands.
