Our Training & Development team is seeking a Field Sales Trainer who will travel and participate in in-person training and observation sessions, as well conduct ongoing training for new and current employees.


You Will
  • Design and implement sales training programs for the Sales team including, but not limited to, onboarding for new outside sales team members, and inside sales team members reinforcing sales strategy and methodology, conveying best practices, improving knowledge repositories, and refining sales engagements through coaching and feedback to sales leaders.
  • Travel to new Sales team members' districts at the time of hire to implement the full new-hire training and onboarding.
  • Work closely with Sales leadership to identify ongoing training opportunities for new and current employees. Travel to new and current sales team member districts to perform refresher training.
  • Accompany the Sales Team in off-site team visits to participate in observation exercises to prioritize training needs by team, and proactively address gaps in knowledge and content.
  • Leverage prior experience training Sales teams to contribute new ideas and expertise to further the goals of the Sales team.
  • Reduce ramp-up time for new employees and improve the skills of tenured representatives and leaders.
  • Promote consumption of training resources by assessing and improving usability, availability, relevancy, and awareness.
  • Employ effective and efficient content delivery methodologies and assess comprehension to maximize the value of training engagements.
  • Deliver training content using a variety of media and methods, including, but not limited to, in-person lectures and discussion, behavioral learning and simulations (role-playing), documented instruction, and various e-learning or distance-based options.
  • Develop and administer comprehension exercises, monitor and measure participant progress, and serve as a resource for ongoing training inquiries to ensure successful engagement from participants.
  • Identify and coordinate product training needs by monitoring upcoming releases and collaborating with other teams including Product, Development, and Release Management.
  • Coordinate logistics (agenda, room setup, A/V, catering, presenters, etc.) for training events.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all Intermex security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to.
  • Participate and help plan/coordinate sales meetings and conferences.
You Have
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years progressive, related experience in a role that demonstrates an ability to develop and deliver training content and work across teams/departments.
  • Banking, financial services, or financial technology (FinTech) industry experience strongly preferred.
  • The successful candidate will have knowledge of principles and methods of training, and experience teaching and instructing individuals and groups in a professional setting.
  • Must be able to plan, organize and direct training programs for employees using a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures. Knowledge of the structure and content of the English AND Spanish languages, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar is required.
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to delivering results that directly impact the global Sales team's ability to book revenue.
  • Must be effective in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base and constantly evolving product suite.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills and a knack for navigating cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated competency in change management and leading through influence.
  • Ability to communicate complex information in an easy-to-understand and retain fashion.
  • Must be highly organized & analytical with the ability to eliminate obstacles through creative & adaptive approaches.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, Bilingual Skills required: English and Spanish
  • Must be willing to travel nationwide up to 50% of the time.
