The ideal candidate willpossess a solid understanding of legal terminology, risk mitigation strategies, and compliance requirements, andwill play a key role in ensuring contractual obligations are managed effectively and in alignment with companypolicies and legal standards.Essential DutiesAssist in the drafting, review, negotiation, and implementation of a wide variety of contracts, includingvendor agreements, service agreements, lease agreements, licensing agreements, and more.Provide legal insight and risk analysis on contractual language to ensure protection of the company’sinterests.Collaborate with internal departments (compliance, finance, operations, etc.) to gather input and aligncontract terms with business needs.Maintain and manage a centralized repository of contracts, using AI assisted software to standardizelanguage, establish and manage form agreements and ensure timely adherence to contract timelines anddeadlines.Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with terms and applicable laws and regulations.Assist in the development and implementation of contract management policies, templates, and bestpractices.Support internal audits and respond to inquiries related to contract data or obligations.Identify areas of potential risk and escalate issues appropriately to legal leadership.Work closely with the compliance department to identify potential issues with HIPAA, Privacy, FalseClaims Act, Anti-Kickback, Stark Law and other statutory compliance.Supervisory RequirementsNo supervisory requirement.QualificationEducation and/or Experience • 3+ years’ experience in contract management roleAssociate’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred but not required. Prior experience with contract management and AI assisted technology a big plus.Professional proficiency with Microsoft and ExcelStrong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.Strong time management skills.Physical DemandsThe employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.• Prolonged use of a desktop or laptop computer.• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, read, or hear.Travel by car or airline may be required.The work environment is usually low to moderate noise level.Work EnvironmentThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters whileperforming the essential functions of this job.
