Become a Part‑Time Children’s Art Teacher who believes that slime, clay, paint, and glitter should be a part of every young artist’s life. We have permanent and seasonal positions available. We need people to help spread our passion for art education. Responsibilities During the school year, be available three or more days a week to work in the afternoon hours (2‑6) for After School Programs. Provide significantly more hours during no‑school days and the summer months if desired. Work mornings, early evenings, and weekend hours for those who want even more flexibility. Interact with students during art classes and camps. Lead classes and camps introducing children to the beautiful world of art. Help children create fridge‑worthy masterpieces, learn art concepts, and experiment with many different art materials. Support the studio’s mission to introduce children to the wonderful world of art. Qualifications Be 18 years of age or older. Have a reliable car; skateboards, bikes, and rollerskates are not sufficient. Be enthusiastic, reliable, creative, and love working with kids. Enjoy being messy and believe kids should be messy too. Have experience as a graphic designer, college student, retired teacher, paraeducator, freelance artist, ceramic artist, daycare provider, or caregiver. Job Details 10–20 hours a week. Additional hours can be discussed for a full‑time position. Paid training, mileage reimbursement, flexible schedule, and discounts on retail items, classes, camps, and parties for family members.
