Job Description

Administrator's Secretary POSITION DESCRIPTION: The job of Administrator's Secretary is done for the purpose(s) of providing administrative and secretarial support to assigned school personnel; coordinating activities of assigned administrative personnel; ensuring compliance of activities under area of responsibility with financial, legal and administrative requirements; and providing information, recommendations and/or direction as may be requested by assigned administrator. REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS: Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is required. Two years of responsible secretarial experience; 24 semester units of college level secretarial training may be substituted for experience. REQUIRED EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. Targeted job related education that meets organization's prerequisite requirements. REQUIRED TESTING: Submitted applications will be screened for minimum qualifications. Those who meet the minimum qualifications will be e-mailed an invitation for testing. Testing is tentatively scheduled to be conducted on May 20, 2026. Please attach copy of transcript for education in lieu of experience as set forth in Job Description. The transcripts must be from a regionally accredited college/university and demonstrate completion of 24 eligible semester units (or 36 eligible quarter units) of college level secretarial training) Letter of Introduction (Letter must be specific to the position for which you are applying) Letter(s) of Recommendation (Two (2) Letters of Recommendation are required and must be signed by the author. The signature block must include the author's name and title/relationship to the applicant. Letters must be dated within the last 2 years prior to the recruitment closing date. Letters without author's signature, name and title/relationship to the applicant and letters without a date or dated more than 2 years prior to the recruitment closing date will not be accepted. One letter from a supervisor is preferred) Resume (Employment information on Resume must be current and consistent with the employment information on the EdJoin application/Record of Work Experience) Typing Certificate (Minimum Required Typing Speed is 50 net words per minute.
