Hamptons Restaurant Assistant General Manager SEASONAL 2026

A boutique food and beverage lifestyle group with a collection of restaurants in the Hamptons is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to join our leadership team. The General Manager will serve as the operational leader of the restaurant, ensuring excellence in guest experience, team development, and financial performance.

Assistant General Manager Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring elevated service standards and guest satisfaction
  • Lead, train, and develop FOH staff, fostering a culture of hospitality, accountability, and growth
  • Partner with the Executive Chef on menu rollouts, service flow, and operational planning
  • Manage financial performance, including budgets, labor controls, purchasing, and inventory
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations, maintaining a pristine environment

Assistant General Manager Qualifications

  • 3-7+ years of progressive restaurant management experience in high-volume or upscale dining
  • Proven track record in team leadership, training, and guest service excellence
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience managing P&L, labor, and cost controls
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
