Roll Off Driver - Job Description

Redbox+ Dumpsters of the Suncoast is currently in search for a Driver to join our team! The right candidate is an experienced Class A or B CDL Driver excited & capable of driving late model, safe straight trucks. You must be able to work with limited supervision & exercising good judgement while interacting closely with the owner / General Manager of this one-of-a-kind roll off service. This position can accommodate a full and/or part time driver. We will work with the right candidate to determine the best schedule/hours.

Redbox+ Dumpsters of the Suncoast is not a typical waste service. While we deliver roll off dumpster containers to commercial and residential construction sites, we offer a little more! (Thats the "+" in Redbox+ ) We hold a patent that combines a roll off dumpster with 2 built in portable toilets. The result is two services delivered at the same time, for a fraction of the cost. Our containers are the most efficient and innovative in the market. We are a boutique company- local & family owned. We exist to offer exceptional service to our customers: general contractors, roofers, builders, remodeling firms and homeowners.

The best fit for this role will enjoy interaction with contractors and homeowners, happily maintain close relationships with project managers. You must safely operate a specially equipped late model Kenworth T370 and/or Hino 338 single axel truck, or our Kenworth T880 Quad axle truck for the big jobs. You must manage time appropriately, respect homeowners and their property, and work together with the team to deliver on the operations weekly and monthly targets. Raise after satisfactory completion of training and 90 days of safe operation.

Duties & Responsibilities

Deliver Redbox+ Roll-Off Dumpster/Portable Toilet Combo & standard roll-off containers to customer jobsites safely

Provide excellent customer service to contractors, customers, and homeowners

Speak with contractors, customers, and homeowners to ensure satisfaction

Maintain productive relationships with project managers

Perform Safety Pre-Trip inspections per to DOT guidelines

Learn / Operate Docket Driver app on company provided tablet, logging drop offs, pick-ups, & disposals

Log Driver hours as required by DOT guidelines

Empty containers at disposal sites and record weight tickets

Clean/Service portable toilets & empty wastewater tank at disposal sites. (While this is a limited part of the job, it is not optional. We assure your safety with personal protective equipment (PPE) and hold your health & safety at the highest priority. But if vacuuming a few job-site toilets is an issue that you can't deal with - please do not apply)

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age & legally able to work in the US

Must provide current CDL driver's license & agree to allow us to access your driving record

Must have clean driving record with valid/current FL Class A or Class B CDL

Must have 2+ years of professional driving experience

Must pass a pre-employment background check

Must pass drug tests before and during employment

Must have familiarity of Manatee, Pinellas, Sarasota & Hillsborough County area roadways and communities

Skills

Navigate high traffic roads, driveways, tight overhead environments
