Job Description

Our client, an innovative leader in automotive development, is seeking a PSAE Fabrication Tech to join their team. As a PSAE Fabrication Tech, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting vehicle assembly, metal fabrication, welding, and rapid prototyping activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, enjoy working with tools, and be eager to learn new skills in a dynamic, prototype-focused environment.

Job Title: PSAE Fabrication Tech

Location: Raymond, OH

Pay Range: $27.00 per hour

Shift: 1st

What's the Job?

• Support vehicle assembly by following detailed work instructions and using hand tools.
• Assist with installation of mechanical, electrical, and fluid system components on prototype vehicles.
• Support fabrication of brackets, fixtures, and prototype parts using basic fabrication tools.
• Learn and perform basic MIG/TIG welding operations safely and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with safety standards.

What's Needed?

• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in automotive technology.
• Experience using common hand tools and willingness to learn fabrication and welding skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Basic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
