About the Role:  

Join J A F Converters Inc as a Production Assistant in Copiague, NY, where you'll play a crucial role in our dynamic production team. This exciting opportunity allows you to contribute to our innovative projects while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities:  

• Assist in the setup and operation of production equipment.
• Support the production team in daily tasks and workflow management.
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Help with inventory management and material organization.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Requirements:

 

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Basic knowledge of production processes is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with measurements, (reading a ruler).
• Salary - based on experience.
