Associate Podiatrist (DPM) – Surgical Focus | Partnership Potential Punta Gorda, FL & Port Charlotte, FL Established and highly regarded podiatric practices in Southwest Florida are seeking surgically trained Associate Podiatrists (DPMs) to join their teams. These positions offer true full-scope podiatry , strong surgical exposure, and a clear path to partnership in supportive, physician-led environments. Opportunities are available in both single-location and multi-physician, multi-location practice settings. Position Responsibilities Provide comprehensive podiatric medical and surgical care Perform forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle procedures Diagnose and treat trauma, sports injuries, and complex foot & ankle pathology Manage diabetic foot care, wound care, and limb preservation Participate in inpatient consults, rounding, and ER call coverage Collaborate with physicians, staff, and referral partners to deliver high-quality patient care Practice Environment Full-scope podiatric medicine & surgery State-of-the-art clinics, surgery centers, and hospital affiliations Strong referral networks and consistent case volume Experienced clinical and administrative support Emphasis on patient-centered care over quotas Schedule & Call Monday–Friday schedules Mix of clinic, surgery, and inpatient responsibilities Shared on-call rotation (varies by position) Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $125,000 Performance-based incentive and bonus opportunities Partnership potential Paid Time Off (PTO) Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Malpractice Insurance included CME allowance and professional dues (position dependent) Qualifications Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from an accredited program Florida license (or eligibility) Surgical training required Strong clinical skills and team-oriented mindset Start Date: ASAP Locations: Punta Gorda, FL & Port Charlotte, FL
