Payroll Specialist Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join a collaborative payroll team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with payroll or accounting experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You'll play an important role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while supporting payroll compliance and continuous process improvements. What You'll Do Process U.S. and Canadian payroll accurately and on schedule Review payroll information and resolve discrepancies Maintain payroll records while ensuring confidentiality and data security Communicate with employees and managers regarding payroll questions Complete payroll reconciliations and support payroll balancing activities Assist with payroll tax reporting, including W-2s, T4s, Form 941, and related documentation Maintain payroll procedures and process documentation Support compliance with payroll policies and applicable regulations Collaborate with internal departments to provide outstanding customer service Contribute to process improvements and special projects as needed What We're Looking For Three or more years of office, accounting, or payroll experience (payroll preferred) Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience Strong understanding of basic accounting and mathematical concepts Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Experience with payroll systems or enterprise software is a plus Why You'll Love This Opportunity Stable Monday-Friday schedule Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunity to expand your payroll and accounting experience Meaningful work supporting employees across the organization Long-term career growth potential We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every qualification listed.
