MILING & EXTRUSION OPERATIVE

Friday - Saturday - Sunday

6:30 pm - 7:00 am

$18.17 - $20.17 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Follow all instructions on the Job Card required for milling and extruding materials, ensuring correct process is used for optimum results
• Responsible for working within the set quality standards to make sure only good quality products are passed along to the next stage of manufacturing
• Measure product thoroughly and add to material following the standard work instructions
• Measure and cut product to the appropriate length to ensure maximum efficiency and quality of product
• Responsible for following safety guidelines and reporting any near misses, incidents, and accidents to the appropriate personnel
• Ensure that the work area is properly clean at all times, especially at the end of the shift
• Throughout the shift, work will be recorded into the system in a timely and accurate fashion
• Bring any issues or “stops” to production to your cell leader or appropriate personnel

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• 6 months prior experience in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience running machinery
• Must be able to read and write in English
• Must understand basic manufacturing math
• Must possess effective communication skills
