Human Resources Internship

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic student who is ready to gain firsthand Human Resources experience in a fast-paced, people-first environment with our Pure Fishing Plano team. This internship is a terrific opportunity to explore multiple areas of HR while contributing to meaningful work that supports the HR team and the broader organization. This Human Resources Internship at Pure Fishing will immerse you in a fun and action-packed environment where no two days are the same. As a valued member of our HR team, you won't just observe, you will take an active role in a variety of projects and admin functions, help support key initiatives, and make a meaningful impact.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Explore key areas of Human Resources by working on projects in recruiting, data analysis and HRIS.
  • Assist in the full life-cycle of recruiting, including onboarding.
  • Support key HR processes by partnering with experienced HR leaders.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department, including data entry, maintaining accurate records, and filing documentation.
  • Participate in various HR-related projects and initiatives, contributing to employee engagement, as well as process improvements and departmental goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

The ideal candidate:

  • A college junior or senior.
  • Able to work onsite for approximately 8 weeks.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
  • Hardworking, self-starter, and positive attitude.
  • Computer skills including experience with MS Office and HRIS databases.
