HousekeeperPerform a combination of cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness in guest rooms according to established procedures.Job Responsibilities:Clean assigned guest rooms, according to preset standards and procedures. Duties include, but are not limited to making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning bathrooms and vacuuming.Empty wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas according to preset standards and procedures.Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, writing supplies, and bathroom items according to preset standards and procedures.Input accurate room status into the phone system according to preset standards and procedures.Enter, respond to and close maintenance system work orders as required.Keep cart, linen room and equipment neat and orderly according to preset standards and procedures.Turn in all articles found in vacated rooms immediately and handle according to lost and found procedures.Report maintenance problems immediately.Follow established chemical procedures and key control procedures.Perform other duties as assigned.Job Qualifications:Education - High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Experience - No initial experience required. Knowledge of cleaning equipment, methods, and chemicals also preferred. Good communication skills required for interaction with hotel guests and staff.Licenses/Certifications - N/APhysical Requirements:Ability to speak and hear. Close and distance vision.
