DescriptionA health system is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our in-house Marketing team. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role will support the full range of marketing efforts across social media, web, print, digital, and video. - Design engaging, on-brand graphics for social media, email, and digital advertising campaigns
- Create and maintain web assets, including banners, landing page graphics, and UI elements
- Develop print materials such as brochures, flyers, signage, and event collateral
- Support video projects, including basic editing, motion graphics, and animated content
- Collaborate with the marketing team and CMO to translate strategic direction into compelling visual content
- Maintain and evolve brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all channels and materials
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Stay current on design trends, healthcare marketing best practices, and industry standards
- Assist with photography and image editing/retouching as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of professional graphic design experience (healthcare or related industry a plus)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) required
- Working knowledge of video editing/motion graphics tools (Premiere Pro, After Effects) preferred
- Experience designing for web and familiarity with content management systems a plus
- Strong portfolio demonstrating range across social, print, digital, and video design
- Solid understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and brand consistency
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)Experience LevelIntermediate LevelJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Secaucus, NJ.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $29.50/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
