Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking an EHS Manager to join their team. As an EHS Manager, you will be part of the Environmental, Health, and Safety department supporting the plant operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: EHS Manager

Location: Millington, Maryland

Shift: 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday

What's the Job?

• Lead and advance EHS strategy by providing clear, consistent direction that supports both people and business outcomes.
• Be a visible safety leader with a strong shop-floor presence—recognized as the go-to expert for safety, health, and environmental mentorship.
• Collaborate closely with the Plant Manager and leadership team to align EHS initiatives with site priorities and long-term objectives.
• Proactively identify workplace hazards and collaborate with plant teams to eliminate or mitigate risk.
• Champion a ZERO HARM culture, driving safe behaviors and practices across all levels of the organization.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree (B.A., B.S.) in EHS, Operations, Engineering, or business is required.
• Ideally 5+ years of progressive experience leading safety and environmental management systems.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, with the ability to apply them effectively in a plant setting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
