Excel Dental is seeking an experienced and motivated Dental Office Manager to join our dedicated team. This role focuses heavily on managing patient treatment plans, ensuring the doctor’s schedule is optimized, and maintaining office productivity to achieve high case acceptance rates. We are looking for a self-starting individual who excels in sales and customer service, and who is ready to be a trusted, long-term member of our practice.

Job Description

Greet and check in patients warmly and professionally

Collect co-payments and verify patient insurance coverage accurately

Present and coordinate treatment plans to maximize case acceptance and patient satisfaction

Manage and maintain the doctor’s schedule for optimal productivity

Schedule and confirm patient appointments, including follow-ups

Prepare and maintain new patient records neatly and accurately

Perform various office administrative duties as assigned by Practice Management

Respond to patient financial inquiries and refer to appropriate departments as needed

Foster a positive and professional atmosphere within the office

Support practice goals by proactively contributing to office efficiency and patient engagement

Salary Range

full-time $36,800 - $47,000 per year

Shift & Schedule

Monday: 10 AM – 7 PM

Tuesday: 9 AM – 7 PM

Wednesday: 10 AM – 7 PM

Thursday: 9 AM – 7 PM

Friday: 9 AM – 7 PM

Saturday: 9 AM – 3 PM

Sunday: Closed

Requirements
  • Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant

Proven experience in dental office management or treatment coordination with a focus on sales and patient communication

Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation

Experience in insurance eligibility verification and patient billing processes

Reliable, fast learner, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Comfortable working a flexible schedule, including some Saturdays

Preferences

Bilingual skills, particularly Spanish speaking, highly preferred
