Job Description

The opportunity: An executive CFO with deep experience in financial principles and business strategy development, capable of navigating a dynamic, complex organization. The incumbent will work closely with the president and leadership team to drive synergies and efficiencies across ChemTreat, participate in senior management commercial strategy, provide concise financial analysis, and monitor the company’s financial position.

Experience & Education

  • BS/BA in Finance or Accounting; MBA, CPA, or equivalent preferred.
  • Extensive operational experience, progressing to CFO or VP Finance in a complex, global enterprise.
  • Full financial ownership of at least a $400M–$500M P&L.
  • International experience and a strong global business perspective across multiple business units.
  • Experience in acquisitions and divestitures, including due diligence and post‑merger integration.
  • Minimum five years at VP level or equivalent.
  • Domestic and international travel up to 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial leadership, analysis, and reporting to drive meaningful improvements.
  • Partner with the president and functional leaders to conduct detailed financial and business analyses, identify problems, determine root causes, and recommend solutions.
  • Maintain forecasting processes that accurately predict performance and motivate actions to meet targets.
  • Support the strategic planning process, ensuring initiative results are scoped, tracked, and reported.
  • Generate the annual financial budget and submit accurate financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and Veralto accounting practices.
  • Lead the global finance and IT organizations, aligning operations and strategy with business needs.
  • Partner with the CIO to execute digital IT strategy, improve service delivery, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Own development and improvement of core financial systems (ERP) for timely and accurate reporting.
  • Streamline transactional closing processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the Finance Organization and the Veralto Enterprise System.
  • Provide tax planning input, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws.
  • Assist functional areas in business initiatives that improve profits, reduce assets, and enhance efficiency.
  • Review and analyze capital expenditure requests to ensure appropriate ROI.

Compensation: $275,000 – $325,000 USD per year, with bonus and incentive pay eligible. Benefits include paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
