Position Summary

The Billing Intern will support the Finance team with day-to-day billing operations, data entry, and administrative tasks. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in invoicing, financial systems, and basic accounting practices while ensuring accuracy and timeliness in billing processes.

Compensation

• This paid internship offers an hourly rate of $15 and is designed for students or recent graduates looking to build real-world experience and develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and processing customer invoices in a timely manner
• Review billing data for accuracy and completeness
• Enter and maintain billing information in the company’s accounting system
• Support reconciliation of billing discrepancies and resolve basic issues
• Assist with tracking payments and updating billing records
• Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., operations, customer service) to verify billing details
• Provide general administrative support to the Finance/Billing team as needed

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of accounting principles preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
