Barista Position

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Beverage Preparation: 

• Expertly prepare and serve a wide range of coffee drinks, specialty teas, mocktails, and fresh juices with an emphasis on quality and presentation.

Menu Innovation: 

• Collaborate with the team to develop and introduce new and exciting beverage offerings that align with our Halal and brunch themes.

Customer Service: 

• Provide warm, personable service, greeting guests upon arrival, taking orders with accuracy, and making recommendations based on their preferences and dietary requirements.

Cleanliness and Maintenance:

• Ensure the coffee and beverage preparation areas are clean and well-maintained, adhering to health and safety standards. Regularly clean coffee machines, blenders, and other equipment.

Inventory Management:  

• Monitor inventory levels of coffee, tea, mocktail ingredients, and other supplies, notifying management when restocking is needed.

Quality Control:  

• Consistently check beverage quality, ensuring each drink meets Haus of Brunch's high standards.

Team Collaboration:  

• Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure a seamless service experience for our guests.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of coffee brewing methods, beverage preparation, and bartending skills (non-alcoholic focus).
• Passion for the coffee culture and creating innovative beverages.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide engaging customer service.
• A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility in work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
